I have a lot of friends on this journal that I want to add to my new one: [info]where_no1knowsIf you want to stay a friend, could you please add my new journal. (I'll be sure to add you) It's frustrating coming back to this one just to read some of your entries.

Thanks

I feel like I'm getting too old for this game.

I've been staring at the computer screen for hours now, waiting for the panic to set in - but it hasn't - not yet anyways.

I use to get such a high from the panic, and I would successfully complete the paper on time. I use to like the crunch time. I use to excel at procrastination.

But now... I just don't see the point. I have this fuck it attitude towards school. What is the point?.

University has killed my creative side.

I want to graduate - so grease up my watch already.

Take control of stress with the following tips:

Simplify

-Set priorities for yourself. Organize your time so that you do the things that are most important to you first. Let less important -things go.
-Identify things that cause you the most stress. Then, look for ways to get around them. For example, if you find traveling stressful, see if you can make a phone call instead.
-Concentrate on doing one thing at a time. Once you have finished a task, take a moment to let yourself feel good about getting it done. Take a rest if you need it, and then move on.
-If you are running late, or if you feel overwhelmed, cancel or reschedule your appointments.
-Learn to say "no." Save your energy for the things that are most important to you.
Get support

-Don't try to do everything yourself. Ask your friends and family members to help with some of your responsibilities.
-Talk about your feelings with family and friends. Make sure you take time for social activities and exercise. You'll be more prepared to -deal with situations that cause you stress if you've taken time for fun!
-Plan ahead

-Think about which situations cause you stress. Then, plan ahead to minimize or avoid these predictable sources of stress. For example, if waiting in line is stressful for you, bring a book to help pass the time. If you find the morning rush stressful, get up 15 minutes earlier so that you don't feel so rushed.
-Schedule breaks for yourself throughout the day. This will give you a chance to rest, and will also prevent the stress that comes from getting "behind schedule."

I just got back from the gym - I did legs but I skipped out on the lunges - I do though have 10 lbs weights in my closet, so I can bust them out tonight if I feel like it.

I now have to figure out what I'm going to write for my assignment which is due at 7pm. The class is called: Bad Girls In The Bible - it's actually not that bad. But it does suck up a lot of my time.

This week we are studying Jezebel - and I have NO idea what to talk about.

I'm at the school right now - I just handed in my paper (the one I got the extension for). I'm actually really pleased with how it turned out. I hope to get a B+, but it would be nice to get an A.

Last night it was pouring outside and I didn't make it to the gym. However, my goal this week is to make it to the gym 5 times. WHich means, I'll just make up for it on Sunday morning.

Last night I watched the Rent Trailer 32498732874982378 times. It was lovely. If anyone is interested, go to http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/rent/ and watch the 2nd trailer - it looks so good.

I'm off to the gym: I can either do my legs or abs and then make up the one I don't do on Sunday ... hmmm..decisions, decisions.

Sometimes the things that we can’t remember are the things that we must. For if we are to deny are history for too long it will surface when we least expect it, and devour us whole.

"I love faded scars that don't matter anymore"

I found this written in someone's biography - I love it.

Last night I went to the gym and did:

-Biceps, back & light abs (I did 3 reps of two different exercises on the ball)
-20 min of cardio.

I was pretty impressed, considering I was running on 3 hours of sleep.

I'm going to the gym today to do Legs - yay!

I better get on my assignment & finish my essay from yesterday - boo.

Last night I couldn't keep my eyes open. I slept till 11:30pm and decided that I needed to write my prof for an extension (my paper is due at 11:30 today). So I wrote him saying that I didn't feel like my paper was up to par, and I would like to hand it in tomorrow night instead of in the morning - I told him a little white lie - that I'm recovering from food poisoning. (Well I did have it last weekend!)
Anyways, after I wrote the e-mail I was looking at the course outline and it states that there are NO extensions. I almost cried and stayed up all night (I napped for 2 hours) and wrote it. At 10:16am I'm on my last page when he writes back saying to take my time and hand it in on Wednesday.

MOTHER FUCKER.

I'm obsessed w/ Van Morrison.

Do you want to have a good day? Download: Summertime In England.

It's scary how much he sounds like the guy from counting crows.

I worked out again last night: Abs only (I'm going to include the cardio element to today's workout). I enjoyed it. I found it easier to go to the gym and just focus on one body part (not to mention faster - I only spend 30 minutes at the gym)

Today I'm focusing on Triceps & Back I believe w/ 30 minutes of cardio. I have a feeling that today is going to be a good one.

Workout so far this week:

Monday: Off (due to food poisoning)
Tuesday: Legs & Lunges
Wednesday: Total Ab Routine: 6 ab exercises w/ 3 reps of 20 -25 each.

I just posted a really good entry and LJ ate it. BOO.

Anyways, the recap: I have decided to try to do less cardio and more weights to tone my body for Winter Vacation: Mexico w/ my Family. [info]loving_pickles wrote up her workout plan in her LJ not to long ago and I've decided to copy it :) -- maybe my bod will look more like yours and less like mine if I stick too it. HA. Anyways I'm going to try it out (starting tonight).

I'll post the workout plan - of course, I'm going to have to make some modifications once I get to the gym - So I'll have MY new workout plan written up and I'll post it sometime next week.

Monday: -Biceps & Back (I don't EVER do my back, I better figure that one out) & 20 -30 min of cardio w/ abs.

Tuesday: Legs (including lunges w/ weights)

Wednesday: Abs & 20-30 min of cardio

Thursday: Triceps/chest (again, I always skip on these)

Friday: Legs & 20 -30 min of cardio

Saturday: off (or cario/abs - if I go)

Sunday: off (or cario/abs - if I go)
